Surfridge has the best crafts beers in El Segundo, hands down! There is also plenty of space inside and outside for people to sit and drink. They often have food options which are really good! Check in with the brewery about food before arriving. Food is not always available. I love this place!

Today I went in for work and they completely turned my very horrible day around. Gifted some beer that I tried right when I got home and it is fantastic. Great atmosphere and people, will definitely tell everyone I know about this place. 🙂

By far one of the most comfortable and unique feeling breweries I've ever been to. Would definitely hang out or swing by after a long shift and relax here. More amenities!!!

Very cute brewery (can't often say that), there were a ton of kids running around so a bit more of a family vibe

This was my third time stopping here. They make solid beer plus their own line of cocktails. Usually something for everyone. The staff is courteous and friendly. The service was on point with food coming out in a timely matter and hot. I enjoy the atmosphere here as it has a very shoreline feel to it. But be aware that this place can get busy during the summer and expect to wait for seating. The bar does not hold many seats and while they do have a very nice outside patio the inside and outside can fill up quickly. There is plenty of parking and you can walk around The area and check out the Essex steam trains. It's definitely recommended if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed right in the back of the witch Hazel building off of route 9 quite easy to get to.

Cool place for a bite and some good beers. Came down to Essex for the steam train and it was closed still so we came here for some libations and a place to hang with our baby. Very kid friendly, had some great guitarist playing some classics. Tried a couple different beers and they were all great, we are definitely looking forward to coming back again for some of their wood fired pizza. Looks like they have some great mixed drinks as well. Our delightful waitress told us they only carry local Connecticut liquors which is great. All in all, I would highly recommend this place for some chilled out atmosphere and some good food, and great beer. And again, bring the kiddos, nice oasis for them to run off the extra!
