Tommy V.By far one of the most comfortable and unique feeling breweries I've ever been to. Would definitely hang out or swing by after a long shift and relax here. More amenities!!!
Lea P.Great! Love the beer!
Leila B.Very cute brewery (can't often say that), there were a ton of kids running around so a bit more of a family vibe
CT D.A newer establishment but they have created a comfortable space in which to enjoy their quality beers indoors and out. If I lived closer, it is exactly the kind of place I would hang out in after work and on weekends.
Suzanne Sudman W.Surfridge Brewery is AWESOME! Not only is the beer great, but the space is fantastic! I hosted my husband's 50th birthday at the brewery and it was perfect. The manager, Jen, and bartender, Drew, were so amazing to work with. Jen was super helpful with organizing the event and making sure all went according to plan that day. She really worked hard to make sure our event went off without a hitch. I couldn't have pulled off such a great party without her help. So many guests commented about how much they loved the space and the beer. I highly recommend this brewery for any event, or just to hangout at and have a good time!
Katy R.Absolutely lovely experience.
Nick M.My favorite brewery in El Segundo. It has great beer, a cozy taproom, and a small town feel that is hard to capture. Definitely recommend.
Aaron R.Great place to grab some beers and munch on good food. Highly recommend if you are in the Smokey Hollow area of El Segundo
Andrea L.Love this place. Hottest brewer in town.
Esteban L. Gonzalez P.
Андрей П.Fresh place to have a nice beer...
Alex S.Great service, amazing space, fun time for a couple of families with little ones to have a beer and a bite! Can't wait for football season!
Nate BWe really enjoyed this place. They had a great beer selection. We sat on the patio. It has a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place.
Nicole H.Lots of parking in the area and a cute outdoors setup that fits both big and small parties and has a couple fire pits too. Stouts on tap were really good and the food was also great. Will be going back very soon.
Humberto R.They treat you like GOLD!Great place to meet and spend time with friends. All respectful and mindful of Covid guidelines. All beer drinks, no ciders, keep this in mind lol
Andrea JYou would not expect it when you first walk up to it's modest, almost hidden entrance, but you would be greeted with awesome vibes and amazing drinks. Overall a beer haven that would make your Sunday Funday.Edit: the shrimp and veggies quesadilla and the torta were dynamite as well. Highly recommend.
carlos R.Nice spot , great friendly service good beer
H MGreat place to come in and hang out to get a beer. The location is cool and the setting is too but most importantly the beer is what makes the place.
David R.This is a hidden gem that you will walk past if you don’t keep your eyes open. Lots of good beer selections, indoor and outdoor seating, TV’s, games, dog and kid friendly. There is even a food truck in the back. Check it out if you can find it.
Hector B.First time here. Super friendly staff. Not that many beers on tap but I think that’s better because it limits your choices to be more wise. Or you can try everything they have. You can totally miss it since it only says “beer” in a little sign outside the door.Great decor and very family and dog friendly. They have a cool play house and awesome couches.I was able to try the IPA which was really good. They also had a Mr. pink white ale. Super refreshing and tasty. They had queen on the speakers so it was cool by me. Their patio is nice but super limited to space so. I was able to get some sunshine when I came. No kitchen but they have local food trucks parked out in the back. I’ll be back, really happy with the spot.
Jeanette Rodriguez (.Great place to check out. If you enjoy draft beer, have kids and a pet(s) you can take them all there. This is a unique brewery establishment that is bringing back the old fashioned lifestyle of family, drinking, socializing, and community in one place. It's a gem in El Segundo. Go check it out! It'll be your regular hang out place to chill out at especially if you don't have a babysitter. You can drink and chase your little one around. You can make new friends that relate to your lifestyle of kids and furry ones too. The owners happen to be my sister and her husband. I wouldn't review them if I didn't think they had worthwile businesses. They are very passionate about what they do. So I'm a proud sister and sister- in- law. They have put much thought and love into this place. They are foodie fanatics and already own a gastropub restaurant in Santa Monica called" West 4th & Jane" Go check that out too! Each place has a "Cheers" type feeling. Where everyone knows your name. Enjoy!🍺🍻
Dave A.Great new brewery! Awesome pitstop on the way to the airport 🙂
Taylor W.Beautiful interior, hidden gem, great patio, fantastic Kölsch. Will definitely be coming back!
Bola G.Great local brewery! Excellent service and extremely pet and child friendly, which is refreshing to see. I’ll definitely be back. Cheers!
Jake R.Cool vibe and has a great Stout!

Joanne R.Selection of beer was great. Food choices were varied and delicious. We chose the charcuterie tray which had cheeses from nearby makers. Meats were different and so good! They had a guest cider pour as well which we enjoyed.
Brian M.Great beer and atmosphere!
SamanthaWow! We're currently working our way through the CT Beer Trail. This place is GREAT! Our server Mike gave us good recommendations. The hazy ipa was my favorite. They also have cocktails if you're not into beer. I tried a tiki rum drink that was pretty refreshing. The pizza was DELICIOUS. I highly recommend the spicy Capicola. 👌 I also love that they have used books to bring the check. It was sweet to read the messages left by other patrons. All in all, this was the perfect stop after a day out on the water. I can't wait to bring my friends back here.
Barry B.Great beer !! Food was awesome too. Had pizza and oysters. Yum
Kelly R.Great food and atmosphere!
Kevin B.Great service.
Marcus L.Really fun spot! The beer was excellent and the wood fired pizza, delicious. Very friendly staff, too. Fun place for weekend afternoon. Can't wait for the warmer weather to enjoy their outdoor patio. Definitely will be back!
Samantha D.Great new brewery!! Food is delicious!! Great pizza and beer!
T. J. E.Great beer, amazing atmosphere, can’t wait to come back for some oysters on the half shell.
Bob J.Great food. Great beer. Outstanding service.
miranda M.We had a great time at Surfridge- the beer and cocktails were great and for a place that was pretty busy we never felt like we waited. Dinner was amazing we had the sausage and fennel pizza, a dozen oysters, charcuterie, and steak and roasted potatoes.. everything was cooked to perfection. The manger Alex even check in on us to make sure our experience was top notch! Totally suggest this!!
KTAwesome place. Great to have a brewery open up in Centerbrook for a local hangout with good food and decent drinks. We needed this. Margarita pizza and baked oysters were amazing! Can’t wait for summer to sit out on the patio with a drink.
Robert A.First time there..... WOW, it was great. Beer was fantastic. We had bone marrow, a dozen Mystic oysters, and a mushroom pizza. The food was great. Emily, our server, was excellent. The brewery atmosphere was really nice, and the entire visit was pleasant. We will be back.
Wiktoria G.Love this place! The beer is delicious, and the pizza is out of this world!Definitely recommend trying the Throwback 1997
mybeneteau B.Hidden landscape in the Essex, CT area behind the old “Witch Hazel Works” warehouse and next to the Essex Steam Train…. YES!!!You can MISS the entrance if you don't know where you're going as there is no big sign to speak of. Enter by the large water tower as you drive over the rail-road tracks coming off of Route 9. Love the vast, festive space—big bar, adult tables, upfront counter top tables for the kids to watch the pizza’s be made. Surfridge Brewing is a real Craft brewery and full-service restaurant. Looking forward to this spring to sitting outside and enjoy their outdoor patio. Word of mouth brought us here and it was fun-- the beers are all worth sampling. I particularly like the flavorful wheat Belgian, but the stout was complex and smooth. You can try a sampler of 5 interesting beers. There's a couple of big screens to watch sports. And here's something you don't see every day: a play area for the kiddies! I also hear that they're dog friendly. Our hostess was all smiles and helpful. What's not to like? Well worth a visit for beer, pizza & food lovers. Nice family atmosphere. Good vibes!
Julie D.What a great addition for the tri town....and the state!!! Great atmosphere, incredible beer/cocktail selection. Food is top notch and our ambassador Mike was not only an absolute pleasure to chat with...he convinced us to step outside of our comfort zone and oh man.....so glad we did!!! We will be back!!!
Ataribowling C.We went last night for some food and beer. Despite being short handed, the staff was quick, on the ball and super friendly. We started out with the octopus which was excellent and followed up with a margherita pizza, a dozen oysters, and duck confit. All of the food was excellent and it was nice to see a selection of oysters rather than just the usual Blue Points.Beer wise, I really enoyed both the kolsch and West Coast IPA. My wife liked the oatmeal stout and Belgian Witbier she had.The vibe and layout is very nice. There is a large bar area up front and a nice sized dining area toward the back. The homage to the blue butterfly and lamp post from the original West Coast location is nice to see. There is a large patio that will be great when the weather gets warmer. This is definitely a great place to check out if in the area.
Pamela R.Great atmosphere. Great beer. Great food. Great staff. We needed this here!
Laura M.When my husband and I walked into this place we immediately felt transported to Miami Beach? California? with a lively, hip vibe! The contemporary, Industrial style provided a very cool atmosphere in which to enjoy a craft cocktail (me) or house brewed beer (my husband). No entrees are offered here but there is a curated selection of small plates. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his selection from the oyster bar which he found to be very fresh and well prepared. Our simple salad was delicious and the pork belly with pickled slaw was heavenly!!! Don't leave here without trying the pork belly!!! We also shared duck confit and the most delicious roasted cauliflower I've ever had. We found the staff to be super friendly and efficient. When we first arrived we saw a lot of families with little kids enjoying thin crust pizzas, then later in the evening, the 20 and 30 somethings arrived in droves. We are so happy to have this fun, happening place right here in our hometown!
Ric F.Had such a wonderful time getting dinner here, we went back the same week. The beer, pizza, oysters and peppers were all delicious. What more can you want. So happy to have such a nice brewery with food in the area
Jon cA wonderful addition to an amazing community! Great local food and drinks with a perfect vibe.
Jennifer M.I enjoyed Surfridge so much. The space is open and the natural light is stunning. The Kölsch was delicious and I almost finished the onion pizza by myself - it was so good! Shout out to the aperol smash cocktail and cauliflower dish too! Can’t wait to go back!
Robert K.Artichoke pizza was good. The food menu had some other interesting items on there as well. I'll come back for the food alone. The staff/bartenders were friendly. The brewing owl milkshake IPA was smooth. Not too sweet.
