This place was awesome! The ambiance is definitely on point. They have many options for seating including a nice outdoor area. We didn’t get the food, but the menu sounded delish. The beers were really good. I had “we used to be friends” and tasted a few others - all very good. Johnny our server was super cool, very attentive and informative on the beer selection. Definitely do not skip this place!

The beer was very good, the bartender was friendly and provided great service and explained all the different beers they had and made some great recommendations. The wings were very good, as was their special of day- sausage platter and pretzels. We highly recommend it and will return!

Nice pizzas- fresh and made from scratch thin crust with good vege/ salad sides to compliment them with an oat stout beer to wash it all down. Nice neighbors too!

Stopped by with our two little kids after the train ride.. very nice experience. Loved the outdoor seating, space had nice ambiance and the putanesca pizza was amazing!! Both breed we're good and or waiter was kind and quick! Would return for sure 🤌🏼🙌🏼

My husband and I were visiting Connecticut and showed up at this brewery before they opened. We were sitting at their outside patio and the owner, Steve, came out and greeted us and let us in to have a beer! Steve chatted with us at the bar and told us his story while opening up for the day, such an incredible guy!!! Beer was great and the inside atmosphere is decorated so cool with plenty of space and seating. Highly recommend!!!

Enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere, the waitress (Olivia) was a sweetheart and very attentive. The watermelon salad was unique and delicious. Thin crust pizza was really good. I could see this place becoming a favorite haunt. [All I would change is to add coffee to the menu.]

We visited Surfridge Brewing the day after our wedding after taking a ride on the Essex Steam Train.Olivia was extremely helpful in explains beer options. She helped to make sure we had the best time while we were here.And our receipt was given to us in a BOOK 🙀🙀

SUCH a great place. Awesome location. Very cool and engaging owners and staff who VERY much care about the service, quality of food, and the beers they craft. Burger and beer special currently going on every Weds is VERY much worth it. Thanks, Steve, for taking the extra time to tell us what you have in the tanks and what we can look forward to this summer. Surfbridge has it all when it comes to beer, food, and unique entertainment. Just five stars all around! 🌟

Excellent summer ambience on the patio. Get a patio table on a nice day if you can. Our server Olivia was outstanding and very responsive. Wait time for everything was minimal. Highly recommend for a laid back place to grab good beer and a bite to eat! Would definitely revisit.

I went for the beer & will return for the snacks. Don't get me wrong, the beer was good. The food was unique & outstanding. They could use some acoustic dampeners, but otherwise we had a great time & will be back.

Stumbled upon this place on a 1hr drive we had and we wanted to avoid traffic while having a beer and making sure our 4yr old was content. We found this place and WOW! What a GEM! AMAZING DRINKS AMAZING FOOD, great food great ambiance etc. if you are in the area do yourself a favor and COME TO THIS PLACE. You will be happy!

My family and I headed to Surfridge after a nice day enjoying the Essex railroad. We hadn't eaten all day and were ready to EAT! Our waiter Alex was very attentive. We ordered quite a variety of things to try because everything on the menu sounded so good, and it was! The short rib and meatball pizzas were so tasty with a thin crust that is our favorite. Don't hesitate to try the smoked fish dip, wings or Brussel sprouts. My husband had a stout that he enjoyed and the rest of us had delicious cocktails. We live about an hour away but won't hesitate to come back to enjoy more of the beers and goodness from the menu.

What an awesome spot - great food and beer selection, and the team couldn’t have been more amazing - fast, professional and super accommodating with our large group. Highly recommend - we’ll definitely be back soon to enjoy the patio when the weather warms up!

Excellent food, great portion sizes and fun atmosphere. Great for our family with three kids, who colored, read books and enjoyed the food! The tiramisu impressed and surprised us the most. The green pesto short rib pizza was so delicious, I’ll be trying to recreate at home.
