This place is fantastic. I can't believe I have never been here before! I love the quality of the food and cocktails. Excellent!

Stopped in for a drink but it was a fun atmosphere. Small beer list for a brewery but it was good.

The food can be on the tad pricier end but it was really good and I'm not upset at what we paid. We had a wonderful burger and chicken sandwich.
Service was fantastic and everyone was very friendly. The vibe/noise/etc was wonderful and made for a really nice sit down and chat and enjoy ourselves.
Drink selection was good. It's not as large as some other places but everything we tried we very much enjoyed. It feels very quality over quantity and I appreciated it.

I held my daughter’s bridal shower here. Alex, the manager, was a delight to work with and prompt in responding to calls/emails. The wait staff was excellent and took very good care of my guests (40!). The food was fabulous and there was plenty of it - 6 different pizzas, Caesar salad, buffalo chicken dip and homemade hummus. It was a pleasant experience and I would use them again.

Best smashburger I've ever had. Burger and beer Wednesdays for $20 is awesome.

Great beers food and patio; traveling through on vacation and brought our kids here and had a great time. Had pizza, oysters and they brought kids cookies that were hot from oven and delicious. Alex made our night very friendly service.

Nice vibe with beer, bar and food. We had meatballs and a unique chick pea sandwich that were both quite good. Beer I tried a line Kolsch, kind of a sour, very refreshing!

Was just looking for a solid place for a beer and pizza and well. We found one! We showed up as soon as they opened. Pizza was amazing and the beer selection was great!! The atmosphere had a solid vibe as well. Next time im in the area ill go again for sure!! I definitely recommend going!

An excellent place to meet friends and have fun. The facility, food and staff are great. The menu has a has a lot of options and the weekly specials are super. The " industrial" atmosphere is really neat. Their craft beer is the best on the shoreline.

I recently attended the Mocktail Dinner at Surfridge Brewing Company. From the moment our party walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, bartender, and general manager, who were all incredibly kind and attentive. Their hospitality truly set the tone for the evening. Our dinner was thoughtfully crafted, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. I would say the pumpkin soup was definitely a hit as well as the end of the meal dessert (a delicious goat cheese cheesecake). The mocktail selection was equally impressive, offering unique and creative options that complemented the meal perfectly. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care went into every aspect of the event. The service was top-notch throughout the evening. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure everyone had an enjoyable night. I’ll definitely be back for future events!

We attended the mocktail dinner at Surfridge brewery this weekend. The five course meal each paired with a mocktail was delicious and creative. Our host Alex took time to explain each course and we truly appreciated the artistry involved. We would definitely do this one again!

I reached out to Surfridge to host a small surprise party for my husband. Alex responded immediately & helped me make the occasion really special. Many thanks to the entire amazing staff - always a great place to go and never disappoints.

Walked over to surfridge after our North Pole express ride today. They do not take reservations this time of year. We had a group of 16, which became a group of 20. They were very accommodating in getting us set up. We had 10 adults and 10 children 8yo and under- who’d just been given cookies and hot cocoa, so we were a fairly chaotic group. The staff were kind and patient. The food was excellent which led to us ordering a few additional rounds of food for the kids- which they ensured came out quickly and smoothly. Cookies with the kids meals are a nice touch! Everyone enjoyed the beer. Would love to come back in warmer weather and take advantage of the outside space as well.

They were very busy due to a local train attraction, but they have their act together! We were seated promptly, server came quickly - and so did the beer. Would love to go back soon.

Food is great. Beer is great. Service (Tess) was great. Shishito pepper nearly killed my daughter but cookies (and Tess) saved the day! She is just so kind and really made the whole experience!

We ordered a number of different items, and they were all delicious. The wings were the best I’ve had in years. We will be coming back again ASAP.

A nice family-friendly restaurant! The food and drinks were delicious. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect and close to fun attractions. We will definitely visit again.

Surfridge is a great brewery! The food and staff are amazing. My family came here after the Essex Pirate Train ride. The flights were great and the owner came by several times to check on how we were doing. Highly recommend and they open at noon on Saturday and Sunday!

I was not expecting the level of service or food that I received. This place was a little bit more bougie than the places I like to eat at. I've had many experiences where the better the place looked, the worse the food tasted. Surprisingly, even with such a beautiful atmosphere, my group was served delicious food.
It was a simplistic fare but it was done really well. They make a lot of their sauces In-House. For example, my son had a Caesar salad and he was raving about the dressing they created. I had meatballs with toasted bread and it was definitely the most delicious thing I've had in a while. I've been to many places where they do not season their food, but this restaurant seasoned everything to perfection. Our group was so happy with our food that we were sharing with each other so everyone could experience how good our dish tasted!
I never had a mocktail before, but their mango fizz was the real deal. Other people in my group had their alcoholic beverages and they were very happy with them as well.
The cherry on top was the service we received. Our waitress was very nice and she stopped by at appropriate times to check in.
I live an hour and a half away from this place, we were visiting the Essex Steam Train when we decided to eat here. We didn't have the best day due to traffic, missing our train and the hot weather but this restaurant made our day. I will be coming back because I was thoroughly impressed. That's hard for people to do so please excuse my long review! I'm sorry about the lack of pictures but I was enjoying my food too much to take a picture 😂

So happy we stopped here during our weekday getaway to Essex, CT. Food, beer and entertainment were great! We had the Charcuterie board, Caesar salad, pepperoni pizza and mushroom pizza. Kids enjoyed the wings and pizza from kids menu. I was happy to see they had a beer flight so I could sample my favorites.

Bartender recommend a surfridge IPK on nitro, I believe it was, highly recommend trying this in your visit!

We had an incredible experience at Surfridge. Fantastic service with Olivia as our waitress, not to mention we had 3 kids under 3 with us and they made it feel extremely kid friendly. I highly recommend this Brewery to anyone!

SUCH a great place. Awesome location. Very cool and engaging owners and staff who VERY much care about the service, quality of food, and the beers they craft. Burger and beer special currently going on every Weds is VERY much worth it. The beer was very good, the bartender was friendly and provided great service and explained all the different beers they had and made some great recommendations. The wings were very good, as was their special of day- sausage platter and pretzels. We highly recommend it and will return!
